“ Visited today. Ordered coffee and cake and the waitress came over to our table to say the cake we ordered wasn’t available. She offered us alternatives and we chose a Victoria sponge which was delicious. She then gave us a voucher for a free coffee which was totally unnecessary but very kind. Fabulous service and we will definitely be back. Highly recommend for not only tasty coffee and cake but the best service I have experienced in a very long time. ”

“ I regularly go to this cafe and love the 200 degrees coffee and friendly staff. Today, however, was exceptional. As a customer with a disability- myclonic dystonia which means I have a speech problem. Ordering a cappuccino is difficult, believe me. When I miss pronounced the word he politely asked me to repeat it. He was patient, friendly and kind. It made my day as I have to persist as I like being independent and going for a lovely coffee. Many people think I'm deaf and try to sign it and that is annoying but nobody's fault. This young man was a credit to the cafe and his family. Oh and by the way the coffee and bacon sandwich was delicious. I'm so glad to have gone in today and met this superb young man. ”

“ It is a great destination for coffee and a bite to eat. Service is fast and friendly. Inside and undercover outside seating. I would highly recommend a visit. Update On arrival, we were greeted by a very helpful member of staff offering seating downstairs. Wow, it's amazing bike memorabilia and bikes. Great seating options. Very atmospheric, and they even put the heating on and jazz music in the background. As a cyclist, why would you go to any other cafe in Newark (obviously, my opinion). Thank you. ”

“ What a wonderful cafe tucked away. My friend took me for a latte and a bacon sandwich. The bacon was cooked to perfection the latte was so nice and the staff were super friendly and accommodating, the cafe was packed an the atmosphere was wonderful. The hum of chatter over coffees and hot chocolates discussing christmas shopping was lovely. ”

“ Green tee is definitely not good when brewed in bag together with tag. Tag should be outside of the pot not in the hot water. Loose tee would be even better. ”

“ Really good coffee. Smooth. Strong. No bitterness. I had a Bacon & Brie and red onion chutney toasted sandwich and it was excellent. Lovely place to chill for a while. ”

“ Had a hazelnut latte and cream cheese and salmon bagel . Coffee was a bit too sweet, maybe a tad too much syrup for amount of coffee . Bagel was very good! Enjoyed it and salad too, wasn't too keen on the crisps. Service was nice, was told the wait time would be about 10-15 mins, however, was served quickly, weirdly bagel before coffee, but I didn't mind I like the design of this cafe, it has plenty seating and is wheelchair accessible. Can also sit outside. Payed £10.65 . Cakes looked lovely but didn't have a chance to try them, maybe next time! ”
